1. Legal Notice — Site Operator Identification

In accordance with Law No. 18-05 of 10 May 2018 on Electronic Commerce and applicable Algerian consumer-information rules, this section will identify the Platform operator (company name, legal form, trade register number, tax identification number, registered address, and hosting provider). 2. Purpose and Acceptance

These Terms apply to every visitor, registered user, and account holder of the Platform. Access to and use of the Platform constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Description of the Service

The Platform offers interactive English-learning modules for children, including vocabulary, quizzes, songs, dictation, stories, phonetics, and an AI-powered conversation module. Some content is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence and is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not reviewed by a certified teacher before display, may contain errors or inaccuracies, and does not replace formal instruction or professional educational assessment.

4. Eligibility and Accounts for Minors

Under Article 40 of the Algerian Civil Code, the age of legal majority in Algeria is 19 years. Persons under that age do not have full legal capacity to independently enter into binding contracts (Civil Code, Arts. 42–43) or to independently consent to the processing of their personal data (Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018, Arts. 3 and 7, as amended by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025).

Accordingly:

• Any account for a child under 19 years of age must be created, and these Terms accepted, exclusively by the child's parent or legal guardian (wali within the meaning of the Family Code) (the "Guardian"), who is the contracting party under these Terms.
• The Guardian is responsible for supervising the child's use of the Platform, verifying the accuracy of the information provided, obtaining and managing the child's login credentials, and for all activity occurring under the account.
• We may request reasonable verification that an account holder is an adult Guardian (for example, confirmation of a valid ID, email, or phone number) before granting a child profile access to interactive or AI-assisted features.
• We do not knowingly create an account or collect personal data directly from a child without a Guardian's prior, verifiable consent. If we become aware that this has occurred, we will promptly suspend the profile and delete the data collected, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and must notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Payment

Certain features of the Platform are offered free of charge; others may be offered through paid subscription plans. Where applicable, prices are displayed inclusive of all taxes at the time of purchase, in accordance with Article 11 of Law No. 18-05. Payment is processed by our payment service provider; the Platform does not store full payment card data on its own servers.

Where a paid digital service is purchased online, the Guardian benefits from the right of withdrawal recognised by Law No. 18-05 and Law No. 09-03 of 25 February 2009 on Consumer Protection and Fraud Suppression, except where the digital content has already been fully supplied with the Guardian's prior express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of that right.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization; upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content; reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's operation; attempt to circumvent child-safety, moderation, or age-verification features; or attempt to contact, identify, or communicate with a child user outside the Platform's supervised features.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its content, structure, software, and the "Trilingal" name and logo are the property of the Platform operator or its licensors and are protected under Algerian and international intellectual property law (Ordinance No. 03-05 of 19 July 2003 on Copyright and Related Rights). Subject to these Terms, users are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Platform for personal educational purposes only.

9. AI Features Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

AI-generated dialogue and content are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular child. They are not a substitute for a qualified teacher or professional educational advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by Algerian law, the Platform operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Algerian Civil Code (including liability for fraud or gross misconduct, Arts. 124 et seq.).

10. Indemnification

The Guardian agrees to indemnify and hold the Platform operator harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from a breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform by the Guardian or the child account holder.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, applicable Algerian law, or child-safety rules, at our reasonable discretion and, where feasible, after notice. The Guardian may close the account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Data retention following closure is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Algerian courts having territorial jurisdiction over the Platform operator's registered office, without prejudice to any mandatory venue rights available to consumers under Algerian consumer-protection law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email to the Guardian. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
